Description

The PACS Integration Specialist’s role is to be the subject matter expert for the technical team on product integration with PACS systems and to oversee onsite installation and configuration of integrated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end testing of process flows, workflows and data flows
  • Develop, maintain and execute QC/validation test plans associated with new products and upgrades
  • Oversee onsite connectivity testing activities
  • Develop documentation and training materials required to support deployment and training
  • Understand the applicable clinical work environments and related customer needs in order to successfully integrate the system solution into their workflow and make intelligent recommendations toward the improvement of overall department efficiency through training and education
  • Ensure successful implementation and roll-out training of the system by conducting system configuration, acceptance testing, end-user training, and follow-up support and training, as needed
  • Understand that our projects may have a direct impact on patient safety 
  • Understand that all patient information that may be encountered is to be treated as confidential and not to be disclosed under any circumstances
  • Attends seminars and training sessions necessary to maintain an appropriate level of professional competence

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Imaging Technologist field, four-year degree from accredited college or university preferred or minimum of 10 years of industry experience
  • Required: Minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical environment
  • Expertise with a variety of personal computer and business solutions software (Microsoft office apps, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware such as: workstations, servers & storage devices
  • Good communication skills, professional demeanor, appreciation for customer needs balanced with company interests
  • Ability to establish effective internal, customer, and vendor relationships
  • Self-starter demonstrating initiative to develop creative solutions to address project and customer needs
  • Flexibility and commitment to contribute as needed to the success of the project

Preferred:

  • Experience with mammography products or related imaging software highly desired
